Surviving Your First Semester in Nursing School
Feb 14, 2023I know the difficulties in trying to shift your minds from being a college student to being a nursing college student. And although getting into the nursing program is a dream come true, it has it's challegenes.
Because what they didn't tell you is all the stress that comes with it.
They didn't tell you, how your college experiences will ultimately be different from everyone else's.
They didn't tell you how much sleep you're not going to get.
They didn't tell you there is a strategy to answering nursing test questions.
They didn't tell you that how you studied prior to nursing school isn't how you should study in nursing school.
Who knew your passion for wanting to help others would be soooo stressful.
And although starting this nursing journey is a bit overwhelming....you are one step closer to fufilling your purpose, and creating a stable income for you and your family.
You just have to find a balance between living your best life and studying

1. Prioritizing your day
- Rather than sleeping in on the weekends keep a consistent sleep schedule throughout the week.
2. Mangaging time spent on social media
- Rather than scrolling just to be scrolling, be intentional about what you follow on social media and be sure to follow more pages dealing with nursing.
3. Lastly, before going to sleep, recite in your head one thing you learned from studying that day.
And Remember
